Lichelle Guyan

Lichelle was appointed to the Trust in July 2021, and then elected as a Trustee in September 2022. 

Lichelle currently is a self employed management consultant/contractor. Lichelle brings a breadth of leadership experience having worked in retail, banking, central and local government most recently for the Waitaki District Council as Group Manager. 

Lichelle grew up in Oamaru and started her career in banking before heading overseas with husband Nick. 

Contributing to the community has always been important to Lichelle having been on various committees as her children grew up, she was a trust member for Trade Aid and is currently chair for the Stronger Waitaki Stewardship Group. 

Lichelle has noted there is a lot to learn and it is an exciting time to be involved in the electricity industry. The Trust has an important role to play and Lichelle is looking forward to making a positive contribution.
