Gary has lived in North Otago for most of his life, residing in Oamaru, then Weston with his wife, Kerry.
Having spent 21 years in local government, as well as owning a number of businesses along the way, Gary is very invested in the community and appreciates all it has to offer.
He believes public service is a great way to contribute to the community. With the challenges facing the energy sector and Network Waitaki in particular, he is keen to contribute his asset management governance experience to support the trust as it navigates those challenges.
